Games of interest (11.20.21) Rhode Island

ITS GAME DAY!!!!
Today TU takes on Rhode Island at 6:30 p.m. it is the last game of the day. That time will change if any of the games run over. I am here onsite at the Ocean Center. If you are here in Daytona Beach, come over and say hey!!! You can also say more word than that.

Most of the Holiday tournaments are off today as they are 4 day tourney’s and today is the rest day. So we are light on games today.

UCF travels to Evansville. This could be a good game. Not too sure about UCF yet really and Evansville plays tough at home.

The games I am focusing on today is here in Florida. Because of that Loss to Air Force, I am going to be their biggest fan. They are playing Holy Cross who lost by 30 to Boston College. I hope to see a big performance from Air Force.

Boston College plays a Utah team that has beaten all three of their opponents by 20 or 30 points. BC has only played lower tier teams and won then lost by 8 to Rhode Island on Wednesday.

The game of the night is Tulsa vs Rhode Island. Rhode Island is a 5 point favorite going into this game I believe. As I said Monday, maybe they play better at night and not during the day. If so this could be an amazing game. If not this could be amazingly bad.

Watching the Bethune cookman vs Bryant game here at the slam and Bryant looked like they were gonna walk away with this game but Bethune made it a game. They are back and forth right now and it is a great watch

Air Force and Holy Cross were close in the first half but the Falcons have really turned it on in the second half.

Air Force has just outplayed Holy Cross this whole game. They were moving around very well today

They said the BC vs Utah game would start in 20 minutes but that would be 15 min before the scheduled start.

This Boston College and Utah game is exciting so far. A couple of steals on both sides and good transition for both teams.

There were a set of drunk Utah fans talking smack during the game. Little did we know that we were sitting behind the Boston College point guards family. There was some usual jawing back and forth. Bout 5 min left in the game it starts getting louder. Bout 2 min left it got personal. Nevada told me to have my camera ready to shoot that video. The Utah players wives escorted them out of there with thei heads hung in shame. Quite eventful. We will have those idiots tonight at 6:30 central. It would be in their best interest to stay their distance. Lol. Nevada might beat them with his cane lol

Back in the ole WAC days my wife and I had probably some of the most obnoxious Utah fans sitting behind us at the WAC Tourney in Las Vegas.

We had a great team with Ruffin and company, Utah was damn good as well. The idiots behind us had zero respect for Tulsa acted like children, they were incredulous that the game was close. My wife turned around several times and gave them the evil eye.


I tried to ignore the idiots.

The old fat coach at Utah Majerious (sp) was a decent guy and gave Tulsa massive props after the game and claimed that Tulsa was one of the best teams they had played that year. I think we got an at large and Utah went on to the Final Four that year. Could be mistaken but that was many moons ago.

I've had a hard time rooting for Utah since.
