2024 Transfer Portal

Who is he?
Chicago kid. His shooting % isn't much higher than his 3pt%.(just under 1% better) He get's 3.2 asst, 1 stl, .6 blk, and shoots almost 80% f/ the line. He looks like he could be a nice 3pt specialist & be decent on defense.

Forgot to say, this kid is a freshman, so he has promise to get better.

Wait people hate the NBA? The quality of basketball in the league is so good now. There’s so many elite players now. The shotmaking is incredible. Y’all are missing out.
You are a majority of ONE . Euro -step, palming the ball and taking a bunch of horse shots
must be on your viewing criteria . Don't forget that blacking out and good ball screens
are forbidden .

Are you sure you’re talking about NBA and not the Globetrotters?

I watched NBA almost every night and I don’t see anything on your list except for maybe the euro steps. Although the Thunder did have a reserve black out a couple of weeks ago.

What I prefer are the pick n rolls, the fast paced ball movement and the ability to quickly take and hit good shots early in the shot clock.

Presti has done fairly well with the draft. I fear that OKC won't offer max extensions to the start players, or at least not all of them, thus allowing them to walk before they reach their full potential as a team.
Hopefully they Trade em for prospects... like they should have traded Durant with 2 yrs left under contract..

Good to see that 2 of our 3 have gone to lower level schools. We're not going to replace Haggerty but I wouldn't be surprised if we upgraded on all the others.

Will be interesting to see how it plays out over time with all the portal athletes. So far it's about half to lower schools and half to higher schools. Maybe that reflects where the AAC is in the food chain.

Are you counting Gibson? He was gone before the season started. Of the three that declared postseason Hall went to MTSU and PJ to Memphis. Carlous has no home yet.

Memphis just picked up Colby Rogers from Wichita State off the portal. This is the second in conference player they have taken

That’s the best way to win your conference. Take all the All conference players from the other teams. A no brainer.

The NBA is truly elite. The quality of play is so good especially compared to the college game.

This is the perfect replacement for starter Carlous Williams and seems 10x better.

So, you agree?
I have no idea.

I am a Tulsan who only really follows TU sports. I don't have any interest in sports in other cities except the USMNT. I don't listen to sports talk radio nor do I watch random games other than occasionally NFL.

That's fair. I'm talking more of the laziness of people in Tulsa towards sports.

The example I always point at is the week after the Notre Dame win...TU had their lowest attendance of the season...it was so bad.

Doug give it a rest. You sound like a small town white folk or live a affluent lifestyle in your gated community

OKC has a dream of being a big city. NOT.

An Oklahoman team would be called the Oklahoma Thunder IMO.

My black family members hate OKC but like me I prefer Tulsa as a white male.

I had a choice and I prefer the God fearing poor.

OKC has more liberals IMO. Good teams draw fans. TU recent teams in men's bb isn't worth the 75 mile trip to me.

Now the women's team me interested as they aren't a bunch of ego's and seem to try to be earning a degree, unlike many idiots on the men's side.

Basketball forever I guess lol

OKC is a MUCH better sports town than Tulsa is. I mean, it's really not close.
Everything about OKC sucks.

Tulsa supports their sports teams. Oilers, drillers and FC Tulsa draw some good crowds. Everyone comes out more if those teams (and TU) are winners.
