Here's the thing...he didn't hit the portal until well after the season ended for TU. To me this means he and Konkol had time to discuss things and then weigh his options. Some of those guys hit the portal the day after the season ended (or as soon as it was open for them to enter). To me this says we have a player's coach who wants the best for them as well as the program and the players respect that. Yeah, the kid has parts of his game that need a lot of work to be effective at this level but I think Konkol would have kept him in the program if he really wanted to stay. That's not saying that Konkol wasn't truthful about playing time prospects and how much work he would need to do to earn that. Hopefully it works out for him

Agreed. I think that anyone who leaves this offseason and going forward will definitely be made aware there isn't a place for them. I think continuity plus internal growth (adding 1-2 impact players) will work WONDERS.

I mean, when you shoot under 31% from the field, 25% from 3 and 56% FT and have 1.5 TOs per assist, the news from Konkol couldn't have been too much of a surprise, you'd think. He also managed to get 2 technicals while playing less than 10 min/game.
