I feel I have left Pops in a good spot with his TV. I ended at least on a good deed. These boards are now unreadable, and as a result all I do anymore is flame people, which isn't what I come on here to do. The story of ITS over the last couple years has been "out with the good, in with the bad." From now on I'm a straight cooligan, and except for occasional visits to the Alley, that is it.

Someone come find me in da coola if this place turns around.

I was driving home yesterday when I heard on the radio that they were filming a movie at the old Driller Stadium on 15th and that they needed extras for the crowd scenes. I was about 10 minutes away so I thought WTH and swung by to see what was up. Yep, they are doing a movie called Homerun and needed about 500 extras but only had around 100 yesterday. I was only there for about an hour, but they filmed us cheering and booing and then did some audio takes. It was kind of fun. Unlike Kramer, I was not able to work my way into actually getting a line though.

If you have any interest, they really need more people. All shapes and sizes and kids too, anyone you would find at a baseball game. They said that they will be shooting for at least the next couple of days. You don’t have to commit to any particular time. You can come and go as you need to. They were going to start shooting this morning about 7:00. Yesterday they stopped at about 5:30 but they couldn’t shoot some scenes because they needed a bigger crowd. So today they might go later into the evening, I don’t know. The weather might have an effect on the schedule also.

Some things bout getting old I knew, I'm ok with my back and knees always hurting. I figured I'd go grey. Grey chest hairs are a bummer. Didn't expect white nose hairs, that really got me down. But here's a tip - take a Dristan nasal spray tube, squirt all the Dristan out and put some Just for Men in it. A couple good squirts every couple of days takes care of those white nose hairs lickity split! I also didn't know you'd have bloody noses all the time when you get old, my doctor can't figure that one out.

But what really got me is this - starting about 6 months ago, I started liking Tom Petty. Last week I starte liking Fleetwood Mac. What's up with that??

Kings of Leon at BOK: meh. Not bad, liked Band of Horses more. Crowd was rude. Typical BOk show.

National at Cain's: Holey moley. This was the real deal. I was skeptical of how this completely mellow band would handle the ordinarily raucous Cain's crowd. They kicked it's ass. Just a good night. Crowd was mostly low on douche. At Cain's of late, that's saying a lot.

Offense is going to be very tough in terms of that battles at TE/WR but most other positions are probably pretty set in terms of the top 2.
