Could Cobe Williams and Keaston Willis go down as one of the great guard combinations in TU history, along with the likes of Steve Harris and Ricky Ross? Although Tulsa will only get one year of Cobe and Keaston, it could be a really memorable one. Fans have already gotten a glimpse of the explosive Williams. They will have to wait a couple more weeks or so to see Willis. But it will be worth the wait.

Saw Keaston Willis practicing his shooting today at the Reynolds Center. Was probably making about 9 of every 10 three-pointers he was shooting. He hardly ever missed.

It looks like the Charlotte’s HC has some problems with his team and is going to suspend some players for the Tulsa game. We don’t know which players and how many, but his action could have an effect next weekend’s game.

We’ll see. Maybe he can find a t-shirt with some sleeves before Saturday. Lol.

TU's decline coincides with the loss at Florida Atlantic. Win this game and TU goes in to the break at 4 and 2. They also have another good road win on the record to build confidence in.

Braxton plays the best we have seen in the horrible conditions and TU's defense stops the Owls with 3 plus minutes left on the clock. In comes Logan Lupo who inexplicably bombs a 71 yard punt that pins TU on the 4 yard line. All this in terrible weather on a sloppy and soggy turf. A respectable 40 yard punt puts the ball on the 35 yard line and that's with no return. TU still manages to get the ball past mid field, but runs out of time.

Logan Lupo has a lot to do with the current state of things. I hope the players and coaches come together and get a win for homecoming. Show some pride "Beat Charlotte"!
