TU Softball - Week 4

[Tax Guy]

The Hurricane Softball team maintained their 21/22 rankings in the polls (although flipped in which poll was 21 and 22)

This weekend schedule finally has them at home, and has changed a little from the original schedule.

Friday:

Double header vs. Creighton starting at 1:00pm

Saturday:

1 game vs. Northwestern State starting at noon.

Roadtrip Wednesday to Stillwater

At OSU starting at 7:00pm

Looks like All Access will have the Tulsa games to watch the games online.

Kaitlin Allen went 1 for 3 with the other RBI
Cierra Hughes and Erica Sampson both went 2 for 3, Huges with a stolen base

Aimee Creger pitched the no hitter facing only 22 batters (the minimum + 1 walk) with 17 Ks.

Tulsa scored the 8 runs on 9 hits and committed 1 error
Creighton had 3 hits and committed 3 errors

Jill Barrett went 4 for 4 with a HR, scored 3 times and 1 RBI
Jill Roye went 1 for 3, with a 3 RBI double, and walkd once
Julie Kernen went 1 for 2 with a double, socred once,and walked twice.

Caitlin Sill got the win pitching 4 innings with 2 hits, 2 walks, and 5 Ks, but also hit 2 batters
Bailey Erwin pitched 2 innings giving up 1 hit and 0 walks with 2 Ks.

Aimee Creger is the real deal. Jill Barrett who was hitting over .400 coming and goes 4-4. This team will be a tough out come May.

Maggie Withee went 2 for 2 with a triple and scored once
Haley Henshaw went 1 for 2 with a HR and 2 RBI

Bailey Erwin pitched the 5 innings allowing just 1 hit 0 walks and had 5 K.

OBP = .529
Slugging = .661

BA if for sure correct from the last Box Score posted. The others are me quickly scanning back at the previous Box Scores so I might have missed part of that.

Polls are in and Tulsa is up 1 in both at 20/21.

Coming weekend at the Courtyard Marriott Tournament in Norman, then back at home for a couple of games.
