The transformation of the Tulsa men’s basketball roster continues with the addition of Clemson transfer Chauncey Gibson. The 6-5, 190-pound guard is originally from Dallas Kimball and redshirted at Clemson this season. Gibson was on the Tulsa campus on March 22 and told Inside Tulsa Sports about his experience.

From what I understand, Konkol is hoping to have at least a couple assistants officially on board early next week. I've heard of several kids that Konkol and his staff have either contacted or are interested in. These are all portal guys...

On another note, Salt Lake CC forward Doctor Bradley, who was offered by the previous staff, had an official visit set up at TU soon. That's obviously up in the air now, but Bradley told me he's heard from the new coaching staff already.

Is about to be named the HC at Providence on a 6 yr contract. We missed the chance to bring him back. He improved Georgia Mason in both of his seasons there, going 14-16 the first year and improving to 20-13 this year in a tough A-10. Good luck to him.

I've been seeing a lot of tweets from players saying their visiting TU this weekend. There is a mountain of an OL coming in, a nickel back from Tx and maybe a RB from Owasso that I've seen so far...any others?

NCAA winning teams have:

Guards attack the rim and get fouled
Defensive bigs are rim protectors
Good 3 point shooters are important
Aggressive and physical play is important
Rebounders are essential.

Good chance to win if you can do all 5. Well maybe Memphis would still find a way to lose.

Other than Satan’s network changing the schedule to force the game between the USA and Venezuela that got Jose Altuve hurt, it has been an interesting set of games. Unfortunately, there are several players like Altuve that will now be lost for the MLB season.
