This weekend the ladies travel to Birmingham for a conference matchup with UAB

Saturday's double header starts at 1:00
Sunday's finale is also at 1:00

Roadtrip Wednesday is over to Fayetteville for a 6:00 game with Arkansas.

Both UAB and Arkansas have 20 plus wins and UAB was preseason pick over Tulsa to win the C-USA. The SEC is a very tough conference (in Softball too) and we beat Arkansas in Tulsa earlier. Both may have something to prove.

I will be out of town, and maybe completely disconnected this weekend, so it may be late Sunday early Monday before I can post results. I can't be the only Box Score Nerd.

Runs have been very hard to get off this UAB pitching staff. Down 1-0 in the 5th inning of game three, Tulsa has the bases loaded with one out, with UAB bringing in their ace, Streetman, to attempt to put out the fire.

TU scored 7 in the top of the 5th and then as weather came and they abandoned the game, unofficial because they didn't complete the 5th. Sucks as it almost certainly would have been a TU victory.

Time for a Bull Durham reference:
A good freind of mine used to say, "This is a very simple game, You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.
"Nuke" LaLoosh quoting "Crash" Davis.

I'll add, Sometimes it all happens all in the same weekend.
