There are some I think we could pull off, but I just wanted to go pretty conservative, anytime I get too aggressive , we end up being horrific 😂
So this may be an unpopular opinion , but I would not write off Kirk Francis yet, I would really like to see him perform with a line that can block and in a system that isn’t toxic , I just found it odd how he looked pretty decent until the 2nd half of the Arkansas state game and then all of a sudden , it was like he lost any confidence he had
I want to see that too, except Lamb seems to like the better runner at QB, so I think Kirk will be running at a discount because of this factor.
Coach Lamb apparently agrees with you as he has stated publicly we'll make a bowl next season. It's bold, it's brassy............but I like it!

He made a lot of bad decisions regardless of the line / coaching.
I believe Coach Lamb offense will not be as complicated as the last two coaches. Coach Lamb will try to get it in playmaker hands without being predictable.
Personally, listening to Coach Lamb and what he needs his QBs to be able to do and how he expects them to run the offense, I don't know that Francis is a good fit for that. Francis is a good passer of the football but I didn't see much of his ability to extend plays this season (as Lamb mentioned in the Q/A thread). I will give some of that issue over to our OL's inability to provide even 2.5 seconds of time to throw the ball. Unfortunately the QB we had on campus who was probably most ready to run Lamb's offense got pissed off at Wilson and checked out midseason. Carpenter is probably the next best option but it sounds like Lamb might be looking for the guy to play and act as a bridge to Carpenter in 2026.
