UCF down late in the first to Tulane. UCF conditioning is terrible. Some of these guys are already gassed. I thought they looked a half step slower in person.. They look slower on TV. Some serious shine off that win might be happening this afternoon, unless UCF gets it together.

Exit observation: Beating UCF is not a bowl game. It’s expected. The raffle of the signed UCF footballs is like tearing down the goalposts after UTEP. It gives them status they don’t deserve, even if it was a big win and they are ranked. It diminishes us more than the benefit of any small amounts raised.

Tulane’s defense is a special kind of bad. Houston also thumped Navy. Navy simply doesn’t have the speed or size on defense. They are also not quite as talented on offense. No real dynamic playmakers as in the past. They did catch Houston napping on a play action pass and hit their TE for a long TD. Navy simply wasn’t able to sustain drives.
