Kansas is without their #2 & now #3 scorer, also the guard who gets the fourth most minutes on the team is out with injury as well. Moore probably started and he formerly barely got.enough minutes to contribute.(14+ min) The players below him don't usually get contributory minutes,(7.5+) scrub players. Now the scrubs are being relied on as the bench. And OSU can't beat them. Doesn't matter a whole lot for us tho, we'll likely have to win the tourney to get in.

Had a discussion earlier today that if we win out and make it to the conference tourney finals then we should get in the NIT. Too much damage has been done for an NCAA tournament birth but we should definitely get a Q1 win vs Kansas State as they are the Big 12 leader

This has been a great day for basket ball and the net ranking. We have only dropped 2 games in the GOI from Oklahoma state and New Orleans. We still have games playing but it’s promising

Alcorn state over Jackson state
Kansas state over Baylor
Nevada over New Mexico
Nicholls state over New Orleans by 1
Utah over UCLA by 1
Little Rock over south Alabama
Dayton slaughtered Rhode Island
UT Arlington over Appy state
Kansas over Oklahoma state

almost perfect today, should be interesting to see the Monday NET

We went up 18 or 19 spots in the almighty Kenpom, which is not all that easy to do

I'm guessing the answer is the highest NET team in the AAC not in the NCAA and somewhere in the high 60s. Not sure that is possible. The auto bids to the low and mid major regular season champs which lose in their league tournament dramatically limits the at large selections to the NIT.

Yes, it’s much harder to get into the NIT now that the NCAA owns it than it was back when we could count on an NIT bid if we missed the dance. Not only do the auto bids cut down on the at-large chances but those are more likely to go to the 11th and 12th place ACC teams than the 4th and 5th place AAC teams.
