The next game will be on March 2 @Temple.

I had rather play UTSA in the tournament than anyone else if we are looking for a win and confidence.

To be honest how everyone plays on the road and this is a neutral court I am fine with anyone really. We all suck on the road except for USF. They dont suck on the road. Even the top teams have 4 or 5 losses in conference and they are mostly on the road.

That”s two big road wins for Rice. So much for the “we suck because we barely beat Rice” crowd.
Depends on when u beat them too. If you barely beat rice early then that isn't the best foot forward. If you barely beat them late, that's alright. We managed to sweep them though. That's great , but we still may not stay ahead of them in the standings. with this late surge.

Oklahoma State is up on Oklahoma 59-58 with just under 6 minutes left
Jackson State is up on Alcorn 41-39 just starting the second half
Delaware state up on South Carolina State 29-27 just starting the second hlf

I can still see us both finishing with 6 wins. We shall see.
I see Rice with 6 wins. They have Temple and North Texas at home and they are on the road in Wichita and Charlotte

To meet that we have to win two games. We got Charlotte at home today and then Temple and UTSA on the road and finish off with USF at home.

Gonna be tough to get the two. We will see how tough tonight.

I think today is going to be the least likely win. USF probably will have the title wrapped up by our last game, and won't be as motivated to win.

I thought N Texas would run away with this game. They got somebody back that was really important after a long break from the team. I guess he has to get back into form.

They lost in OT on the road. Rice is 4-3 in since Jan 31. We are 2-5. I still contend we have a better roster than Rice.
We had a tougher schedule than them the last seven games. The most the difference would have been would been would be one game instead of two. More likely we would have the same record with switched schedules. The one thing they did that we didn't do though, is beat a team like UAB.

Bruce keeping saying we have the tie breaker with Rice but Bruce, a tie breaker doesn't matter unless we tie.. ;)
I'm guessing Bruce didn't have much to say about our tiebreaker with Tulane?

Rice had roads wins over UAB and Memphis. I don’t see us winning either of those road games. I do think we get the win tonight btw.

South Carolina state beat Delaware State 69-62
Oklahoma beat Oklahoma state 84-82 in overtime
Alcorn state over Jackson state 87-73 in overtime
Loyola Chicago over George mason 80-59
Little Rock over lindenwood 82-73
Mcneese over incarnate word 87-71
Belmont over Missouri State 93-78

Boy I didn’t think they were gonna pull that out last night. Charlotte got in the double bonus with like 5 or 6 minutes to go in the game and we still beat them. Luck was on our side in the second half. As they say I would rather be lucky than good any day. Three more games left before the conference tournament. Tulsa going into today is the 10th seed, Rice is a half game up in the 9th seed and then Tulane is in the 11th seed. Today is going to be a great slate of games in the American.

TU Women host South Florida today at 2:00 p.m. pm ESPN+

That pretty much wraps up the RS championship for USF. One loss for FAU or one win for USF for the rest of the season, and it is clinched. No way FAU goes undefeated and USF goes winless.

Really intelligent repartee between the announcers on the Memphis/FAU game. Not being sarcastic at all. Really great announcers.
