Yesterday we only ha 1 game. Rhode Island destroyed Milwaukee 82-58 as expected.

Today we have several games for you. Our next opponent is Alcorn State and they play Wichita State today and then Tulsa on Thursday.
Memphis hosts Alabama, who beat Houston in a very close game.
Houston hosts Louisiana in a rebound game from the loss to Alabama.

Speaking of Houston. If you haven’t seen the video or the article then I suggest that you google Jamal Shaed. Houston players and staff kicked over a chair and tossed a garbage can after the refs didn’t listen to their appeal. This player stopped and picked up all of the trash. This young man has my respect for doing the right thing. Apparently Sampson called to apologize for the behavior of the team and staff.

I have seen the video of Shead cleaning up after his disrespectful teammates. Props to this kid and props to his parents for raising a young man to understand that honor, integrity, and character will take him a lot further than basketball alone.

I get being upset in the moment as these players and coaches have the passion and put in the work. I would hope that they would come back out and clean up after a moment to cool down.

Young man just exemplified what will make him a leader on and off the court. That's the type of example that you can use as a building block to build a great culture in an organization. The two GA's (I assume) that are standing behind him watching him jsut got a lesson they need to learn.

I am going to start this off by saying, Oregon State is trash. They lost to UC Davis yesterday. Oregon State won their opener to Portland state and have lost 9 straight since then. A couple of them were by 1 point. Those games were high scoring games, the rest of them, if you score more than 60 points then you will beat Oregon State. Trash. Smh

We only have two games today. No barn burners. TU plays tomorrow so new thread for tomorrow.

Boise State keeps bouncing between a Q1 Loss and a Q2 Loss.

Memphis and South Florida both moved up 19 spots while North Texas and Southern Illinois moved down by double digits.

Tulsa moved down 4 for the second straight day.

On the current trajectory we won’t crawl out of the 200’s. We just lose too many games we shouldn’t based on the talent on the squad.
