There were Dem advisors and pollsters who were telling her she need to talk about the issues more and less about how Trump was going to destroy the human race. She ignored them and chose the end of mankind argument. In the end it failed. James Carville is a bit of a nut but also a fairly savy political advisor. He was screaming “talk about the economy, immigration, war”. She was the same candidate who failed miserably in 2020. Ironically, the majority of voters who listed “Threat to Democracy” as their #1 issue backed Trump.

The supreme leader was too busy talking about completely sensical things like Haitians eating cats. Damn those cat eating Hatians!

He was busy talking about sensical things like "drill baby drill" (nevermind the fact that the US is now producing and exporting more oil and gas than it ever has before)

He was busy talking about the need for more parental rights, to teach your child whatever nonsense you feel like they should know. (Makes it easier for the children to believe him and the other car salesmen that follow)

He pledged to hand the idea of government to a person who absolutely ruined one of the largest social media websites, and who has built garbage cars, behind schedule and for a higher price than promised.

You call it fear mongering, because you still think it won't happen.... until it does, and you just handed him back the keys to test fate despite repeated warnings.

The Covid stimulus contributed little to inflation. If you want to complain about it hitting the debt, fine, but I fundamentally have no evidence that it was the leading cause of inflation.

I’m not ready to make any type of judgment on this team yet. My post was directed at those being what I feel is overly optimistic based on today’s performance. Agree that we won’t know much until Loyola. Nice to win though. Our OOC schedule is downright bad.

Tyler Adams gets his 1st start in forever for Bournemouth and looks about 90% of his old self. That is, many tackles, blocks, interventions and his trademark kerfluffle with opposing players. Goes 67 minutes. Brendan Aaronson is improving as a starter for Leeds and his trademark running amok looks to have a purpose now. His on ball skill is also improving.

Tim Weah scores Juve's first of 2 and the game winner in the Turin Derby. He's started 4 in a row & is looking very good. McKennie came off the bench late with no chance to do much. CP shoots, it's saved and a teammate puts in the rebound. I guess that's not an assist but should be. His new coach, Fonseca, may not be around much longer.

Yeah they are playing too many minutes against somebody we were up by 30 on, and beat by 23 after throwing a bunch of reserves in. You play them with a lot more minutes in a game like this. It figures that it would take something so convoluted for you to find to criticize. The fact that you criticized at all in a game like this is amusing.

I'll wait till we get Garcia back, and play a couple of games with everybody healthy, against better competition, before I make any judgements against the team. After the Loyola game we should have a better idea of what kind of team we have. You want to pass judgement after an exhibition game, & after the first/second game of the season. You are taking Aston's mantle? We got 20 turnovers against them, and 14 steals, and played good defense on other levels, besides allowing them to shoot a better percentage.
