Can you remind us which team? I like to cheer for posters kidsI have a kid that plays for TSC
Yes. Stick with the hot hand until proven otherwise. It has to be Legas. I'm still not sure of Wilson, but goodness I hope that comeback really does swing momentum for the team and the rest of the season. I hope we come out firing tomorrow.
I agree.not everyone needs to go to college. Someone needs to loIknow how to repair an AC
They looked pretty good the last two. Hope for a win tonight.I have not been following as closely as I have the last few years. The poor start to the season and usually when I check the scores they've given up 1 or even 2 early goals and are down have sort of kept me from furthering my TU athletic misery this season.

I have only seen the last two matches and no mention of Edwards I think.Possibly. From the games I've watched he's done a lot of mixing and matching. I know early on Will was starting at left fullback. TU wasn't particularly good early on and has been better lately. I almost think TU would be better served with a 3-5-2 lineup w/ a double 6 pivot instead of the 4-4-2 (maybe they used some 4-3-3 too).

My guess is making the conference tournament makes enough people in upper admin OK with continuing on. Considering they earned draws with the 2 best teams in the league the last two times out is good but where was that focus and determination against crappy teams like Rice and UMKC (non-con)? I do like they've played their best soccer the last couple weeks but still. They play Memphis in the 1st round of the AAC tournament again. It's weird that the AAC women play at a "neutral" site as the tournament is being held at Lakewood Ranch outside of Sarasota/Bradenton. It's a nice complex with a stadium field. My son played there in a showcase last December. The men play at campus sites the 1st round and then at the #1 seed the semis and finals. Presumably that will be Memphis, again depends on how tonight shakes out.Guess you think 3-5-2 gets him another year ?
That's really interesting, and now it has got me thinking how my own kids would respond. They know that mommy and daddy think Trump is a jerk, but I hope that they don't think we'd be weird about them playing at someone's house that supports him.I don't like terms like "white trash" or "Puerto Rican trash" because they are labeling of large groups. I don't think emphasizing "class" distinctions is all that helpful either. My wife is pretty liberal, but she made the point that when we grew up, nobody wanted to be labeled. That was liberalism - don't label me or assume I am this or that because I fit into a group. That was considered prejudice. Now, everyone wants to label everyone else with a million so-called identities. Both sides do it incessantly!
Slightly different subject, but I found it eye opening. NPR did a story interviewing schoolchildren about political views and tolerance, and it was counterintuitive. This is not science, but it does make you think. They asked several kids if they thought their parents would be OK if they went over to play at the house of someone on the other side of the political spectrum. Guess what - most kids whose parents were Trump supporters said "sure, I don't see why not." Most kids whose parents were Harris supporters said "I don't think my parents would let me because they hate Trump so much." What does that say? Who is more open minded?
I say this as someone who can't stand Trump and would vote for pretty much anyone else. I plan to vote for Harris later today. But you have to think about these things and have a little bit of humility IMO.
