That 2012 Sting Black girls team is the #1 ranked U13 team in the country. Skilled girls all over the field. Still not sure they’re as good as the top California teams. Looking forward to seeing them match up at nationals.
Maybe that was my Saturday game. That team was so good although I thought the 2nd GK they trotted out was better than the 1st one. She had a punt late in the game that went 65 yards and all the TSC parents were like "OMG".

Other Games

And the two games that brightened the dismal day of football for me were the Hogs losing to A&M, but it could have been anyone except Houston and I'd have been happy. But the cherry on top of the sh!t sandwich was Houston getting their arse beat once again.
I also like UNLV won big and are now ranked , makes that qb look like an idiot

2024-2025 Men's Schedule

So I took a look over the schedule and this is what I have so far. We play 31 games and 1 exhibition

Q1 - 1
Q2 - 7
Q3- 8
Q4 - 11

Two teams missing due to the tournament not being filled yet

We have 1 Division 2 opponent and one NAIA opponent that is not an Exhibition so those dont count towards the Q status.

We are missing two for the Jacksonville Classic and apparently the tourney is still trying to find two teams to round out the field. Currently in the field are Austin Peay (ASUN), Detroit Mercy (Horizon), Georgia State (Sun Belt), Rhode Island (A 10), UT Arlington (WAC), (2 teams available). They have a Coast Bracket and a Bay Bracket. The higher level of conference goes in the Coast and the lesser conferences go in the Bay. We should be in the Coast. Who we play will depend on who they get. I am sure that Rhode Island will be in our bracket but who else will be in there I have no idea.

This is what the Q status for the teams we play and where we play them if last years net is utilized.

Kevin Wilson

I have said before any team on our schedule but 1 could beat us and we probably can beat every team on our schedule but possibly 1. The key is to have a good game plan, not make mistakes and have good in game adjustments. I still believe that. Unfortunately our offensive game plans have not yielded the success we need and our O-line is young and not providing us with consistent good running lines or pass protection. The special teams coverage and protection has sucked. The defense has had decent games plans, except OSU (chose to sell out against run vs. pass) but our in game defensive adjustments were not good against ASU, LTU or NTU. Special teams coach needs to be removed and give the job to another assistant. The D-coordinator should be replaced at the end of the season. Wilson should turn the play calling over to Spurrier (I suspect Wilson is calling the plays). You can’t do both jobs. If you want to be the HC be the HC not the OC.

Army opens as 8 point favorites.

We are going to lose this game. Just get over it, and quit all the bitching. You already know it's coming. I knew it was coming against N Texas, it was just about 10 or 14 points worse than I expected. Temple, UTSA, & UAB are the games to bitch about, if we lose. This one is already in the books, short of a minor miracle. I expect to see Francis starting.

Unfortunately two of those three are on the road. Francis appears to have a case of the yips. Like a golfer who doesn't expect the putt to drop.
