TULSA, Okla. -- Tulsa men's soccer ended Marshall's unbeaten streak Saturday night, 2-0.

Tulsa, 7-3-0 for the season and 2-0 in Conference USA, not only won, but dented the Marshall defense twice. Marshall (7-1-1, 1-1-0) had given up only one goal in its first eight matches of the season.

Kyle Comings of the Golden Hurricane scored off a Cristian Mata assist in the first half. Omar Mata added an unassisted goal late in the match.

Goalkeeper Mark Pais for Tulsa made nine saves. Daniel Withrow from Marshall had eight.

I was curious about who Marshall had played during their "unbeaten" streak and came away unimpressed. Any win is a good win, but we probably should've put another 1 or 2 on the board. Oh well, I ain't bitchin'!
