TU vs NSU (Exhibition) Tonight.

Korita hasn't taken a shot but has several assists. Could be the best passer on the team.

My thought as well. His pass to Magnay that bounced of Magnay's head was a thing of beauty. Once the bigs are used to Korita's passes they're going to get lots of easy buckets.

Taplin inbounds to Artison for layup. Nice inbounds plays under our own basket tonight. Our inbounds plays at the other end, not too good so far.

Wheeler makes turnover #25. Getting too sloppy out there. Bench emptied, including Foree.

2:05 TU up 82-48. Lots of turnovers in last 2-3 min

If you play in exhibition 2 you burn the redshirt right?

Any players sit out?

Why don't we schedule exhibition games against better opponents? I can't imagine the coaching staff leaned anymore tonight about our guys than a practice would have revealed.

We have to play D2 teams and there aren't that many around here worth playing. And we don't want to lose to Burrage State again.

Wasn't that what got Bishop Wheatley in trouble?

I think you can play in exhibitions and still redshirt unless you have already played your freshman year. Good to see the freshmen play better than the upperclassmen tonight.

Freshmen can play in both exhibitions and still redshirt. Wheatley got in trouble because he played in exhibitions as a sophomore before redshirting.

Right now, Edogi is not as good as Igbanu. Etou is the best player by far and Korita needs to be on the floor. Very stable

Magnay a dunk and several good fundmental plays..I think he has to
play

He obviously has made great progress.....He still may grow an inch, as
well...His interviews before he came over were very telling...He seems
to have a strong desire to improve and win....His defensive efforts may
turn out to be pure gold in a conference with so many talented big men....

The rest of the freshmen in the '16 class are coming on....Atson was more
like his history last night, Korita continues to show flashes of excellence,
and Igbanu is awesome, and a stud in the making.....Battle has obviously
been set up to red shirt, but has the skills and athletic ability to be really
good down the road....

The elephant in the room??.....Henderson's eligibility status....Not only is
he argueably our best PG, all things considered, but our number one relief
for the two guard position....Wheeler proved last night he is better with
the ball in scoring situations than playmaking ones....He, simply said,
cannot sub in at PG.....

If Henderson is deemed ineligible the best option, based on two exhibition games alone, to play backup PG is either Birt or Korita. This is my opinion based on their ball control, communication and passing ability. Neither are ideal, but I believe they're better options than Haith and Battle (as of today).
