Tulsa, OK
75-50 Houston. TU o/u 14 turnovers? TU o/u 42% shooting? TU o/u 23 fouls committed? O/u 15 FT disparity?

What’s the O/U on Haith still being employed as coach on Saturday?

99% he still is. Don't think we'd make a move midseason unfortunately. Phillips quit midseason which is the only way we got him out the door before the end of the season.

Zero percent chance there’s a mid-season firing.

Maybe at the end of the season…we’ll see, but still cautious on that probability.

I'm wondering how long the COVID excuse for coaches remains valid. Everyone else seems to be doing OK handling it and trying to modeslty improve (see Tulane) but we keep floundering. And we're stupidly insane with it...trying the same thing over and over and over again and shocked when the result doesn't change...same in football. Yes we won more games than we lost in football yet the actual talent we had indicates we should have had 2 more wins MINIMUM and likely 3 or 4.

Depends whether you're on the side that benefits from the excuse. Either way, it doesn't hold much water when there are such glaring fundamental issues with the coaching, recruiting, and current roster. FB certainly should have won a couple more, and the UC Davis loss is inexcusable, but basketball appears to be on a completely different level. Basketball appears to be afloat without a rudder and I'm afraid we're going to take a large number of bad losses as the season plays out.

Silly odds, we don't fire anyone and thus, for better or worse Haith will be the coach.

Houston > 80
Tulsa < 50
Houston has too much talent and speed on both ends of the court for us to be competitive...
Haith will have the deer in headlights look most of the game...

The only way this happens is if Haith is fired and a better coaching staff is in place. The quality of the current product is what is driving attendance.

Houston one hundred

Tulsa will score sixty three

Same sh!t, diff-rent day

If we play the game it will be about 74-65. We will be down 3 at the half having played well. We will not score the first 5 minutes of the second half and be down 19. Then we will roar back and get tremendous accolades for getting back to a 9 point loss.
