So. Alabama offense rolling over Appy St.4 possessions 3 TDs and one fumble on QB strip. Major Applewhite has them rolling. 21-0 midway through Q2.

They are no joke , I could see them being ranked soon

That makes me feel a little better. After we played Okie St, I really didn't feel like they were that great. Losing a close game to a ranked Utah settles me on that loss a little bit.
It wasn’t a close game. Utah called off the dogs after getting up by 19 and OSU scored a couple late to make it look respectable. OSU couldn’t get out of their own way the whole game.

I don't follow.
I figured Utah would win by 14 or 17, because I didn't think Okie St was that good. That they played a ranked Utah to a 3 point loss makes me feel like it was just as much a talented OSU as it was us not being up to snuff.

Utah ranked 12 OSU 14.

Now you have to give me details! Well now that I know, I'LL go back to thinking OSU wasn't that good, and it was mostly us who stunk. Thanks for destroying my illusions & delusions. 😜

Well the Armed Forces presently lead our conference. Seems like Navy might not be too bad this year. Navy beating Memphis this weekend was more than a slight shocker. They both might give Tulane & Memphis some competition this year.

So could we see two army vs navy matchups? Is it even possible

And Utah was playing their back up QB. OSU pulled Bowman for a good chunk of the game.

My illusion/delusion is we were their Super Bowl. How else can I explain us allowing Bowman to throw for an 80% completion rate?!?!

I’ll go with because we had no pass rush and our DBs are pedestrian at best. I also didn’t like our game plan of selling out to stop the run at the expense of coverage in the back end

It your average backup though; I’m sure he’s been coached up since he was a wee lad by his big brothers coaches.

Wow, Boston College came back to win by one

The pokes got smashed by K State.

Oklahoma is taking on Auburn now

And the two games that brightened the dismal day of football for me were the Hogs losing to A&M, but it could have been anyone except Houston and I'd have been happy. But the cherry on top of the sh!t sandwich was Houston getting their arse beat once again.

I also like UNLV won big and are now ranked , makes that qb look like an idiot

Glad UNLV blew out Fresno and is ranked for Marion and his system. However, this one doesn't thrill me as much if the promise of a 100K NIL deal was truly made and reneged on by UNLV, which seems likely. Unfortunately, Marion was the guy that made the promise and gets left holding the bag, or in this case an empty bag. However, he clearly didn't make a promise like that without Odom telling him to go get a QB and this is your budget. So, either Odom is the A-hole (highly likely) or the QB that took his red-shirt; it's certainly not Marion, who most likely is only guilty of the misstep of working for a lying d-bag. This could all be on the kid, but having earned a degree from Holy Cross, I am assuming that he's much brighter than most of the apples in the bushel.

Legit question...is this year's traditional Army-Navy game a non-conference game? Next, if both Army and Navy are in the position to be playing in the AAC Championship game (and undefeated at that point), COULD the AAC opt to play the AAC Championship game as the Army-Navy traditional game and how might that impact the playoff for the G5 team. You've got to imagine ESPN would be all in on one of the service academies playing in a playoff game, even moreso than Boise State. It would likely be the highest watched playoff game in the 1st round with an actual world wide audience...maybe even higher ratings than the Army/Navy game.

The AAC can play this right and be the most important game in town that week. Playing two weeks in a row does not help either of them in the playoff scheme.

Yes nonconference

They say under no circumstances will that game be moved, whether it would affects the championship game of the AAC, or the entry into the NCAA playoff games. It will always be considered non conference in both of those situations. It is them that is dictating this situation, despite the conferences wishes. The league was given no control over this.

They might end up playing two weeks in a row.

When are the playoffs announced? Hopefully before that extra game. If so then no harm.

The second game will receive much lower ratings than the first if this comes to pass. Would rather see a Memphis or Tulane in that game against Army/Navy.

The ratings of the traditional Army Navy game shouldn't matter to the AAC. I don't think the conference has any financial interest in that one.
