Everyone knows that the Executive branch has significant input on all spending bills in addition to bills in general because they have veto power. They also have the Vice President acting as a liaison to the Senate advocating for their positions there. If the executive doesn't like the language that's in a close bill like the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, it doesn't get to the floor of either chamber for a vote.Trump tax cuts?
