That was a poor decision before he got hit during the throw. Bench the kid and come back at it next year coach, this isn't working
I realize that Smith was hit as he was throwing which caused that interception to be all wobbly, but there were four defenders around our receiver. WTH was he doing throwing there anyway.
I’m not sure Smith is all that healthy with his knee. Not sure why the coach would risk further injury when Boomer / Brin should be getting snaps in a lost season.
Boomer is still working out with Rasmussen, and looked good last game; he deserves a go tonight. Maybe Zach is still >100?

And that is why Zack Smith is not a good QB. He thought his arm strength would make that throw and there was nothing but disaster in the decision. I cant wait for the Monty era to be over...
So that happened right in front of us... And it's it's been painfully obvious for most of these plays what we're doing. This game, and most of the others throughout his tenure. Monty needs to go. I know the game isn't over, but we're never getting back to winning a conference title under this dude with crap like that. And it happens every game (not pick six, but stupid play calls that are to not lose instead of winning).

Monty either calls the game scared or makes aggressive decisions at bad times. UCF was an exception.
I don't think I have said "that was the worst half of football I've seen in" so much in a single season
To be fair, Monty has been playing the kid injured when we've got Boomer and Brin on the sidelines. Smith is also here next year and those two could use the experience. Especially when we knew we weren't going bowling.
I don’t know him playing PlayStation with Randy Moss is pretty cool. That little story is, sadly, the highlight of the first half for me.
