If he hires Spavital , he’s a bust as an AD, I don’t think he will though

Great question. It would go down as the worst hire in TU history and that’s not a stretch.
You have sent me from cautiously optimistic to absolutely terrified in record time.
Just fyi….if Justin needs a message board to tell him we shouldn’t hire Spavital then we have the wrong AD.

Spavital's "success" such that it is comes from being hired by average coaches. To answer my question from the other thread, the last time he coached a team that won more than 8 games was 2013. He's not succeeding at great programs with great coaches who are known for making great hires. Honestly I would think he's more likely to have to go down a level rather than being promoted up to HC.
