Wasn't able to post yesterday due to work. There was only one game and the SMOO took care of that one.

Today there are no postponements or cancellations. There are also no AAC games. South Carolina does host Alabama tonight. That could be a good win for South Carolina if they can pull it out against a good Alabama team.

TU does play tomorrow.

So real question...do we really have any more games of interest IF the only path to success this season is to win the conference championship?

I guess that depends on your point of view of the situation. I believe there are.

TU plays today and is a big favorite to beat probably the worst AAC team (Tulane)at the Reynolds Center at 4:00 pm. Here's hoping to get off to a much better start with some great shooting early.

Kentucky is now 8 games below .500. Duke is below .500. When was the last time
neither Duke or Kentucky made the NCAA tournament field?
The whole concept of the "one and dones" vs. the rest of those in the top 150 is an
interesting question within itself......Are the "rest", especially those with a couple of
year's experience, catching up to the freshmen/sophomore "one and dones"? Maybe
a little, but I notice that "the usual suspects", such as Ks, Duke, and Kentucky still
prosper when they have a super rim protector.....I know Ks doesn't this year, and are
paying the price.....I don't know about Duke and Ky....The one thing that has really
improved over the last several years is shooting.....If you don't stay in the face of the
shooters these days, and contest every shot, you are in for a long night...

Why has shooting improved? I heard a Chicago HS coach say he thought it might
be the fact that young players mostly develop their games in inside gyms now as
opposed to the outdoor windy courts in the past.....Also of course, for the better
prospects, there is no off season....It's year around...

Personally, I prefer watching really well coached teams, as opposed to the super
talented individual players.....Houston and Gonzaga (I have seen only snippets of
Baylor) are the kind of teams that are fun for me.....

Exactly. When was the last time one of either Duke, Kentucky and Kansas were not in the top 25
