ITS GAMEDAY!!!!

Today The Men travel to Dallas to take on SMU. While our season doesn’t really matter anymore until the conference Tourney, we can still shake up the standings and affect others seedings in the tournament. So its time to play spoiler for the rest of the regular season.

I have been posting in the “And 1” what the tournament would look like as of right now. Today we have some games that can make a massive change to that lineup.

Houston is visiting Tulane and Houston doesn’t play exceptionally well on the road. Tulane is having their best season in like forever. This could get on upset watch. Houston cannot afford to lose another game as it will greatly affect their seeding in the NCAA tournament for which they should be a lock regardless of how they do in the Conference Tournament.

Cincinnati is visiting UCF. Why is this significant? UCF just passed Cincinnati on Sunday when they won and Cincinnati lost.

If SMU beats up and Tulane beats Houston then SMU will take over first place in the conference standings.

We also have 2 make up games in the “Rest of the GOI” area.

So your saying there’s a chance....

Thanks for your work this season. I appreciate it. Enjoy the Pirates game. It’s winnable. My only hope for this season is that TU can win one tourney game. And that Frank leaves voluntarily or involuntarily.

Well I have attended 2 games so far and we are 1-1 lol. I’m ready to make it 2-1

What happened to today’s womens game?

There was only one conference game yesterday for the Men and that was Memphis beating Temple in Philly by 14. With all of the potential bracket changes this weekend there was only one but they still both play each other lol. For the Lunardi Lovers, here is what his current bracket looks like.

Houston -5 seed
Boise State-7 seed
Memphis-12 seed and a Last four in
SMU as a First four out.

The women’s game at East Carolina was cancelled due to inclement weather getting Tulsa out of Oklahoma. Since its so late in the season and there are only two more games left it will not be made up. Ladies have a home game against Wichita State Sunday and then the last game is Wednesday at UCF. They start tourney play on the 7th.

Tomorrow I am going to try and get the GOI out before I leave town to head to Greenville. Apparently it’s a 4 hour drive.
