Yesterday was a tough day watching us play in a game that we could have won. We were shooting over 40 percent from the field and 0ver 30 percent on 6-19 from deep. We only had 4 shots from the foul stripe though. Boise was over 50 percent from the field and they shot 41 percent on 9-22 from 3. They also got to the line a lot and the thing that helped us out was that they couldn’t hit a free throw to save their life. The big stat of the game though was rebounds. They got 34 boards to our 21. We gave them a ton of second chance opportunities to get buckets or get fouls. We should have won that game hands down.

Today we have a full slate of games.

One schedule change though. North Texas was supposed to host Nevada today. Nevada has a COVID-19 issue in the program and the game was cancelled. North Texas got LSU Shreveport to fill in today in that slot so they didn’t lose a game. Its not better opponent but its still a game.

Memphis and Mississippi just started as I am typing this.
Rhode Island goes to providence to take on the friars.
Army and Air Force at 3 p.m. Need Air Force to keep winning.
Little rock gets ready to lose another game to Arkansas

The game of the day though as I see it is Saint Mary’s at Colorado State. The Gaels are a good team and this will be a great 8-1 vs 7-1 matchup. Unfortunately its not on any TV I see which is a shame.

I wont keep you long today. Monday the NET comes out and that is when the debate really starts going.

It would make my year if Little Rock beat Arkansas

Memphis is shooting better and out rebounding Ole Miss but Ole Miss has hit 8 triples to Memphis’s 1

Rhode Island and Providence starts in 3 min. 6-2 vs 7-1. Providence only loss is to Virginia in Vegas. They have beat Texas tech, Northwestern and Wisconsin. If Rhode Island can win this that will be HUGE for Rhode Island’s NET and in turn our NET

East Carolina survived Gardner Webb 62-52. They were down most of the game.

ULM beat northwestern state 84-71
