OREGON STATE WINS!!! OREGON STATE WINS!!! OREGON STATE WINS!!!

If you haven’t noticed, Oregon State finally won another game which puts their win total at a whopping 2. Bad part is it was to Nicholls State.

We have lost our top 2 OOC games this season in Colorado State and North Texas due to COVID.

Georgetown and Boston College had to forfeit their conference games because they had to pause for COVID issues. The Big East and ACC both mandate that if your team cant play due to CVID then you forfeit the game. I am not sure if the American has such a policy. I will admit I haven’t really looked either so if someone wants to then “Make it so”

We only have one Cancellation today and that is Rhode Island and Brown. There are a few decent games today. South Florida Travels to Hawaii for the Diamond Head Classic. Boise State takes on Washington State in Spokane.

“And 1” – This will be my new piece of extra information that I think is noteworthy.

Todays “And 1” is, the San Francisco Dons (146 NET) come to the Reynolds Center to take on the Undefeated Hurricane Women’s team (74 NET) at 12:00 p.m. This game will be on ESPN+. This is the highest NET team that the team will face so far this season. They have 1 more OOC game after this and it will be facing their toughest competition so far in the season and that is at Oklahoma State in Stoolwater.

UCF and South Florida are the class of the American Women’s teams. Maybe the new coach is getting these ladies on that level. Lets take care of business this afternoon and then the Oklahoma State game will hopefully show how Tulsa will do the rest of the season.

GO TU!!!!!

Losing the last 2 out of conference games really hurts. I thought those games would give a good read on how TU would compete with the top half of the AAC.

Only 1 game today and that is South Florida taking on Hawaii in the Diamond Head Classic tonight

Its holiday time for the teams and doesn’t look like Tulsa will get a game in before SMU on Tuesday.

Temple took a massive jump in the NET, up 38 spots. Boise also jumped up 14 spots.

The TU Women’s team dropped 11 spots in the latest net and stand at 85. They take on Oklahoma State next who is currently a 68 NET.

AND 1

ItS Christmas Eve Eve and I hope everyone is safe during the holiday season.

GO TU!!!!!

I hope everyone had a great Holiday season. There are no games on tap for today. We had one game yesterday and that was South Florida getting monkey stomped by Wyoming. They had it tied at 33 at halftime but then Wyoming turned it on and beat them by 20. 77-57.

That would have been a massive win for South Florida as Wyoming is a 33 NET.

We have no games until Tuesday. TU Men play on Wednesday and the Women play on Tuesday.

LMU (CA) is 3 spots from moving to a Q3 loss.

And 1

Houston lost two players for the season and I wonder now if they are the team of the conference. They lost to Alabama who lost to Memphis pretty good, Davidson by 1 and barely beat Jacksonville State by 6 in Tuscaloosa. So how good was Houston Really?

GO TU!!!!

Just saw that UH has forfeit to Cinncy I game scheduled for Tuesday
I wonder if that results in part from their injuries
That’s a big deal in the league standings

If the AAC does not reschedule forfeits then here is my prediction:

Prediction : We will win the conference due to massive COVID forfeitures but lose the first round of the conference tournament and thus not get a bid to the NCAA tournament. But Haith will throw down the conference champ trophy on Dickson's desk and ask for another extension. ;-)

TU womens game against Oklahoma state has been cancelled due to COVID on the Oklahoma state program. This would have been the last OOC game.
