Joey Meyer died Friday in the Chicago suburb of Hinsdale, surrounded by family, DePaul said in a release. He was 74.

I remember him coaching at DePaul. He was a good coach and had some really good teams ack in the mid 80s. I think they were part of the original Great Midwest Conference which eventually led to C-USA.
