Around the League:
∙ East Carolina (ECU) takes on Florida Atlantic Tuesday night at Minges Coliseum (7 p.m. ET, ASN/ESPN3) while Memphis returns home to host Louisiana Tech at 9 p.m. ET (CBSSN). B.J. Tyson led a trio of Pirates in double figures with 22 points in Friday’s win over Stetson in the Las Vegas Invitational in ECU’s last time out. The Tigers, fresh off a win over Ohio State in the Hoophall Miami Invitational, are led by rookie Dedric Lawson’s 15.0 points and 9.0 rebounds per game.
∙ Devonta Pollard and Damyean Dotson each posted double-doubles to lead Houston to a 78-65 win over UT Rio Grande Valley Monday night at Hofheinz Pavilion.
∙ Pollard led all players with 24 points and 12 rebounds for his first double-double of the season and the seventh of his career. Dotson scored 11 points with 10 boards for the first double-double of his career.
∙ The Cougars close out their season-long five-game home stand when they play host to Murray State at 8 p.m. ET Wednesday.
