It's too hot and I didn't want to walk 3 blocks from a parking spot to the stadium, and there were going to be people sitting near me, and my pacemaker battery needs to be recharged, and the sun was going to be out for a few minutes, and the benches are hard, and they play that darned rock n roll during the game, and tickets cost more than a nickel, and my ambien kicks in at 8pm, and there's no parking garage on campus

So he needed to be cut to be signed back to the practice squad by the Chiefs. He must first clear waivers. Any team has a chance to claim him off the waiver wire. There are some rules to that, maybe one being that if another team signs him he must be signed to the 53 man roster and can't be signed straight to a practice squad by a claiming team...or that might be the rule that another team can sign him from the Chiefs practice squad. Those rules are wonky.

I think he'll end up on the Chiefs practice squad to start.

I have said this on a couple other threads so it sounds redundant to say it again, nevertheless, I think score will be closer than the actual game. Coach is trying to iron out starters in a live action game against an opponent. We will take a large first half lead and the second half will be used to try players out. See who fits, who doesn't. See what schemes we can run well in game and which we just aren't crisp on yet. Basically second half will be half game/half tryout/ and a third half game planning.

Interesting that nearly 275 votes were all that separated 1st & 2nd place. Probably the closest mayoral race in many years. That says something that Monroe Nichols ran a grass roots campaign, and beat Karen Keith by a few hundred votes with her name recognition.

I just glanced at the last four years. Looks like total sales may have actually decreased. The increase in sales revenue appears to be less than inflation over that period. Assuming the total revenue numbers haven’t been adjusted for inflation.

Up through 2020 the number of stores stayed the same or decreased in most years going back to 2014. Didn’t see any stats on how many opened post Covid at first glance.
