Three very capable quarterbacks, all with experience, with no clear frontrunner makes for an interesting quarterback situation for TU. With Kirk Francis and Cardell Williams returning, and Cooper Legas coming in from the portal, it could be any of those three who stand out and take over at QB for Tulsa football in 2024.

Each brings different positive aspects to the table. Should be fun to see who emerges.

I have yet to see a season where the John Madden quote "if you've got two quarterbacks, you have none" doesn't apply to Tulsa.

Hope someone can establish themselves as a head and shoulders leader and we don't end up with another competition that goes deep into the season. To be clear I'm not talking about the luxury of having a competent backup that can fill in when injury strikes.... but somebody who hasn't earned most of the first team reps because of their poor in game play / practices.

Didn't work with:

Cody Green & Dane Evans
Chad President & Luke Skipper
Seth Boomer & Luke Skipper
Braylon Braxton & Cardell Williams

Yes, someone needs to take control and let him go with it. Those seasons you listed with those QB's were all ill-fated.

Although the Daryle Lamonica - George Blanda combo was pretty good for the Raiders in 1970 under Madden. Blanda only won the MVP coming off the bench and kicking that year.
