At least the game day atmosphere is improved. My dad loves it
We had a bad half because coach Wilson did what everybody wanted and gave another QB 1/2 a chance. Then he went back to Francis.(because he's the best we had & offensive line was the problem) Second half we play better on offense because he is going back to him, and Francis and the team knows it.That dude had the yips. He's the best QB we've got based on what I've seen. And he's not bad when he's cool, calm, collected.
You sound like me defending Monty. Not saying I think you should stop.... just trying to give you some awareness on tone.We had a bad half because coach Wilson did what everybody wanted and gave another QB 1/2 a chance. We lost one because Coach Wilson failed with a first half experiment that almost everybody called for. That experiment pretty much hampered the offense, and in the end caused us to lose in a closish loss. Temple probably had an additional td/field goal, because if we had stayed with Francis, our offense probably would have been on the field more first half. This might have cost Temple one of their successful chances at a score in the first half.
When you intentionally go with three qb's first half, the team becomes disjointed trying to play three different offensive schemes.
Maybe so.You sound like me defending Monty. Not saying I think you should stop.... just trying to give you some awareness on tone.
Temple has no NIL……this loss has nothing to do with NILMaybe so.
I am not sure whether I'm defending Wilson, or defending Wilson having to coach against a NIL environment.(without NIL) Maybe a little of both.
It has to do with Wlson trying to solve a problem of a bad OL, with an experiment using Legas. It has to do with Wilson struggling to work with an OL that is incapable because they are young and/or unqualified. That has to do with him going with the philosophy of getting a bunch of freshman without nil. I'm dumbfounded by people not looking at the whole picture. This isn't checkers.Temple has no NIL……this loss has nothing to do with NIL
no joy in mudville tonightTemple has no NIL……this loss has nothing to do with NIL
Never imagined that duo would be so good, the first year Army enters the league.I might have to bandwagon Army and Navy the rest of the season. I am looking forward to going to the army navy game this year
I didn’t mind him giving another QB a chance. Using 3 different QBs and a different QB in 5 straight series all in the first half is not only bizarre but poor coaching imo. One of the reasons we hired Wilson was for his experience. That experience should have prevented the QB carousel we saw in the first half. No one did. Navy changing their offense changed everything for them. This is going to be a great game. I hope they meet in the AAC championship as wellNever imagined that duo would be so good, the first year Army enters the league.
Both those teams have benefited from really soft schedules. Both have Notre Dame in the coming weeks. Looking forward to seeing how they match up with a legit power team.I might have to bandwagon Army and Navy the rest of the season. I am looking forward to going to the army navy game this year
I didn't mind it either, but not for an indecisive half. One drive would have been enough for me. Two at the most, one for Legas, and maybe one for Williams. But even that seems extreme considering you have had so long to analyze their abilities. Pick the best and most mobile QB with better passing abilities, and try him for one drive to see if it goes any better, and then go back to Francis when it doesn't.I didn’t mind him giving another QB a chance. Ya my brother was a captain in the army , he got honorably discharged after he got shot 3 times and his tank ran over an IED. He got 3 Purple Hearts out of it , it’s definitely hard to cheer against any of the military teamsI’m always go Navy unless they are playing Tulsa

If you looked at the top 4 or 5 NIL funds in our league, I think we would pale in comparison.I think folks complaining about our NIL are funny. We’re not playing UCF, Houston and Cincy anymore.
The likes of UTSA, Charlotte, Temple, Rice, Tulane, and FAU don’t exactly have historically extraordinary booster clubs. NIL is not an excuse in our conference unless you’re talking about Memphis.
Tulane brags about their NIL.If you looked at the top 4 or 5 NIL funds in our league, I think we would pale in comparison.
Tulane is riding a wave of success that just so happened to peak right when NIL started. The Rick Dickson years were very lean in terms of fan support. (Though he did land a big fish to get their stadium built)Tulane brags about their NIL.
