Multiple reports are saying that Uconn has been invited back to the Big East for all sports and that they are joining. Sounds like they will consider dropping their football program to FCS or going independent FBS
I doubt the MAC will even allow them to join. They probably are going to be forced to be independent. And lol at their football going to the MAC. They will actually be able to compete there.

I think losing the conference championship would actually help us. The school losing in the championship hurts that team more so than say a Power 5 team doing the same thing in their conference. This seems like a couple of people at the top of the food chain at the university of Connecticut making a decision with their gut rather than with data, logic, or any other relevant information.
Maybe it’ll work out for them, maybe it won’t.
I hope the conference stays at 11and adds another basketball only school.
Xavier even better
I believe that’s when the new contract kicks in, first check in 2021.They aren’t leaving until 2020
I think VCU could be another good Basketball and Olympic Sports add. They seen large state research university who has had a lot of recent success in basketball and fit the region of the AAC. I’d be fine with either them or Dayton as a basketball and Olympic sports add if we added like army or BYU as a football only member
I would love to see all the academies in our conference. That would be super cool.
