there shouldn't be an overtime problem with the prior game. Auburn doesn't have a basketball program, apparently.

Bruce Pearl obviously can't quite make Auburn good without employing questionable recruiting practices...

Sloppy so far. Curtis in the game along with wright.

Definitely appears that our game plan tonight is to push push push and get UCONN worn down. That's what led to out victory vs them in the Don Rey, IMO. I LIKE IT.

We cannot stand back from UCONN's shooters. We need to extend the D beyond the three point line.

Darn radio is about 7 or 8 seconds ahead of the TV...makes it too hard to listen to Bruce.

TU sucking at the line so far and trying to force things on offense. defense still lax on their 3's...
UCONN up 30 -16..

UCONN playing Woodard tight and packing in low to stop the drives...
w/o Birt TU has no outside game to keep the defense honest...

Got one shooter tonight. Get him off the bench. Jim Calhoun show on ESPN2. Not much attention to the game. TU with less energy than usual. Hopefully a turnaround.

On the season, Birt averages 1 foul every 11 minutes. So at least we'll have him available for triple overtime?

Not hitting anything tonight but the effort and drive is strong. Our guys are after every loose ball trying to make plays and keep it alive. Now we just need to hit a few shots.

TU is rebounding well and hustling on loose balls but unfortunately we can't hit the broad side of a barn tonight including from the line.

Tubby told me he scrapped the auto 2 foul bench idea. Said stats showed most players rarely foul out when left in with two. Can't afford to keep best players on bench and give up 10-15 points. Who cares if they end the game with only 3 fouls when you lose by 15.

Oof that was not a good half. Very little to be happy about. My only positives: we out rebounded them and Wright played his best half in a long time. Everyone else has played basically awful.

Well, it was the worst loss of course, the rest were to P-5 teams.

OT but tons of top 25 upsets to Unranked teams but ESPN focusing on #25 Wichita St's loss.
Just wierd...

They've covered the Virginia game a lot too. Although they don't refer to that as a Top 25 upset but a Duke win. Bias in full effect.
