The Tulsa women's basketball team signed four to national letters-of-intent, including Renetha Dickson, Kendrian Elliott, Alexis Gaulden and Addison Richards, as announced today by Head Coach Matilda Mossman.

"We are really excited about what this group brings to our team," Head Coach Matilda Mossman said. "In losing three quality guards to graduation, we needed to bring in student-athletes who can shoot the ball. Alexis, Renetha and Addison can certainly do that, while Kendrian adds depth and size to our post position. They are all high character kids whose goals and values reflect the standards we have set for our basketball program. We look forward to adding them to the family!"

A 5'9" guard from St. Louis, Mo., Dickson has a No. 25 guard ranking by ESPN HoopGurlz. As a junior, she averaged 18.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.6 steals and 2.7 assists, while shooting 71-percent from the free throw line at Lutheran North High School. Dickson led the Crusaders to a 15-13 overall record last season, including a Missouri Class 3, District 3 Championship runner-up finish. As a junior, she was named to the Missouri Basketball Coaches' Association Class 3 all-state team, and picked up first-team all-conference honors for the Metro League. Dickson plays AAU basketball for St. Louis Running Angels.

"On the court, Renetha is a raw talent," Lutheran North Coach Troy Fehrs said. "She is a great ball handler, great shooter, very instinctive, has a great basketball IQ and has good vision; a really complete player. She is one of the strongest leaders that I have ever encountered in my coaching career. The weight and force of her personality is just amazing. Renetha walks into a room and people change. Some call it charisma, but she has a big personality."

Elliott, a 6'2" forward from Wichita, Kan., earned a No. 15 forward ranking by ESPN HoopGurlz. She tallied 16.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks last season at Wichita South High School. Elliott is a three-time all-metro selection and picked up all-state and all-tournament team honors a year ago, while helping her team capture the Class 6A State titles the last three seasons. Elliott plays AAU basketball for Missouri Phenom.

"Kendrian is an excellent rebounder and great with finishing around the basket," Wichita South Coach Antwain Scales said. "She can knock down shots from the three and has an inside presence that makes her a scoring threat to her opponents. Kendrian is a team leader on and off the court, and she does things the right way. She will be a great asset to The University of Tulsa."

A 5'6" guard from Broken Arrow, Okla., Gaulden averaged 14.7 points, 4.2 assists and 3.6 steals her junior season at Broken Arrow High School. She led the Tigers to the Oklahoma Class 6A Championship a year ago, and during the championship game she tallied 29 points, including two free throws in the final seconds, to earn MVP tournament honors. Gaulden was named the 2015 Tulsa World All-Metro Girls Basketball Player of the Year, and picked up Class 6A first-team accolades. Gaulden plays AAU basketball for OK Blue Star And 1.

"Alexis is a really good defender on the ball, and has become a much better scorer and shooter from the perimeter in the last several years," Broken Arrow Coach Mike Hughes said. "Alexis has good vision, and is a good leader and great teammate. She is also a good student in the classroom and has great character. She is pretty invaluable and we are going to miss her."

Richards, a 6'1" guard from Bixby, Okla., averaged 15.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.4 steals during her junior season. She was named to the second-team all-conference and picked up honorable-mention all-metro accolades last year. Richards also plays AAU basketball for OK Blue Star And 1.

"Addison is a really hard worker," Bixby Coach Tina Thomas said. "She is really dedicated, she leads by example, she is a 4.0 student and a class act all the way around. She is a really good three-point shooter and mid-range pull-up jumper, and she is willing to adapt and do whatever will make her team successful."
