So the men's team has beaten #3 Virginia and tied #2 Creighton this year and has lost to Cal State Northridge. This must be killing Tom McIntosh to know he has a team capable of playing with and beating some of the best teams in the country and yet can't stay focused enough to play with that same urgency and desire against average teams.

Women's team is also off to a fantastic start. Tied #15 OU the other day and pretty much played them even the entire match. Kyle Cussen has done amazing things with the women's side.

Creighton is now #1 in the country and the only goal they have surrendered was to TU (now #27 according to Top Draw Soccer). Anyone who saw the Akeil Barrett goal knows it was a world class finish as he sped past 2 BlueJay defenders and while moving left tucked the ball past the keeper inside the far right post.

And last night's game is one of those games that ORU typically has a shot in because TU has traditionally lost focus which I know drives Tom McIntosh crazy. This current TU team has proven it can play with and beat the best teams in the country but then lays an egg against Cal State Northridge...Mind boggling really. Hope they can keep up playing at this level the entire season. Akeil Barrett is a special player and may be one of the fastest players in college soccer this year.

What are you talking about? CSUN was a seeded team in the College Cup last year. Something TU can't claim. They won their conference and if memory serves, beat UCLA on the road, something TU can't claim. They've had players on the U23 team, then capped for the USMNT, something TU can't claim. It's a great program. Stop saying it is not.
