TU Ladies vs SE LA

The production quality is even worse tonight. They have SE LA’s score listed as TU’s.

Shots not falling and getting out hustled a little.

Poindexter only limited minutes 0-3 shooting and no fouls? Crawford has 11 of our 19 points. Shooting 14.3% from three point range 2-14 and only 27.6% over all 8-29. Out rebounded 20-25. Only 2 assists and 9 turnovers. Need to turn it around.

We have the lead by 2 with 3 minutes left in Q3

44-44, 4:50 left.

Ladies keep fighting back into this one.

Bad officiating again tonight.
I don't think that's the only reason we're struggling. Back to back games, 5 time zones away, and you're in Hawaii. Hard to stay focused. 1st games always seem to have an adrenaline rush. Hopefully we can pull this off and keep things going. As good as a win that last night was, this would be equally as bad or worse.

We seem out of sync tonight. I think the time zone change plus back to back games play a role in that. Up by 1 with 64 seconds left.

Final 48-47 TU wins. Sloppy poor officiated game

Wow. Those 2 offensive foul calls were kind of bogus at the end. And we obviously struggled to shoot tonight but pulled it out. Is there a 3rd game to this tournament?

Looks like there is a decent TU contingent there, or at least enough TU fans to make some noise and fill one of the mini HS sections

No just 2.

Ok, it was weird that we played SELA because they lost to Oregon State yesterday. Most "tournaments" the winners face off.

Oregon St is up big at half on Texas Tech. So we have co tournament champions? (Something like 43-22.)👏🤙🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Might have saved us a loss though. Texas Tech must have played a schedule weaker than our men have played.

Texas Tech is 11-2 with losses to 10-3 Tulsa (by 8) and 10-0 Oregon State (by 12). We TU fans tend to assume "if we beat them, they must suck" but it's also theoretically possible that they're actually pretty good and we're just better.

Our losses are to 12-2 Mississippi State and 12-0 TCU, both ranked in the top 25. And the God Gals of course.

The God Gals, btw, are 7-4, with their 4 losses to teams that combined are 42-5. Their worst loss was to 6-4 OU in Norman. The other 3 teams they lost to are a combined 36-1 and all 3 are in the top 25. So the God Gals might not be a terrible loss, it's hard to say, the God Gals schedule is either teams that aren't really even schools (Friends University?) or top 25 teams, tho they beat a bad Wichita team in Wichita last night.
