The twosome of Bryce Thompson and Trey Phipps led Oklahoma PWP U17 team to an opening win in Atlanta, GA at the Under Armour Event, in front of a number of coaches.
Thompson led PWP over B Maze Elite in a 72-69 win, scoring 30 pts on 11-22 fgs, 5-7 3-pts, 3-7 fts and 2 assts.
Phipps added 19 pts on 5-12 fgs, 2-6 3-pts, 7-8 fits, 3 assts and 1 blk.
In a 16u game, PWP defeated Atlanta Xpress 75-65. 2021 guard Tobias Roland let the scoring with 17 pts on 7-7 fgs, 1-2 3-pts, 2-3 fts and 4 rbs.
2021 Matthew Stone added 11 pts on 4-4 fgs, 3-4 fts. He added 4 rbs and 1 asst.
