How many people has Trump lied to about paying them? There are cities around the country that his campaign still can't visit because he owes them money. He lied to his contractors doing his construction and swindled them out of money. He artificially inflated estimates of his personal wealth, his real estate value, etc... for decades for his own personal gain. He was caught by the DOJ swindling people with his fake university. He lied about his losses in the stock market. He lied about his bankruptcies. He lied about his performance at Wharton. He bragged about his own lying to women in his "grab em by the pussy" schpeel. He copied five pages of a law review article word for word and submitted it as his own during his 1L. He was failed for the course but permitted to remain a student. He finished 76th out of a class of 85. When running for President 18 years later he responded to press questions about the incident saying he finished in the top half of his class and that he was the only student on full academic scholarship. He was on a half scholarship. At various times in his public life he was been caught plagiarizing more than a dozen times, as recently as the 2020 campaign in speeches and policy briefs. My favorite is a speech in the 90’s where he ripped off JFK and RFK in the same paragraph.
Anyone who ever dealt with Trump has a blurb about how dishonest he is. "During the time that I dealt with Mr. Trump, I was continually surprised by his mastery of situational ethics. He does not seem to be able to differentiate between fact and fiction" His own architects noted how often he lied. There are lines going back to the 80's where city officials in New York were using the line "I wouldn't believe Donald Trump if his tongue were notarized" . His ghostwriter on Art of the Deal said he had "a loose relationship with the truth"
He lied about his charitable contributions. He lied publicly about his interactions with the NFL when he ran his crappy football league. He put up false historical markers at his golf courses about Civil War battles not fought there. He lies about his golfing prowess (claiming club championships that were disproven).
He frequently appeared and made friends with publishers of newspapers like the national enquirer that published outright fallacies.
He lied about his faithfulness to his wives. He lied about having any semblance of Christian values. (When pressed on his favorite bible he couldn't name a single one after having bragged about the importance of the bible)
He lied about his observation of the WTC during 9/11. He lied about the aid he provided in the searches during 9/11. He lied about having seen arab gatherings in New Jersey celebrating 9/11. He lied about having predicted the attacks in a book published in 2000. He lied that Osama Bin Laden wasn't a known figure prior to 2001.
He lied about Obama's citizenship status. He lied about his father having been arrested at a KKK rally. He lied about his early life and the amount of money and support that he got from his family .... "small loan of $1 million dollars"
He lied about unemployment numbers during the Obama presidency. He lies about his weight, his health..... heck even the fact that he's going on 80 and still turning his skin orange and his hair blonde is a lie.
Finally, his biggest lie came when he claimed that he won the last election. That one resulted in a violent insurrection aimed at overthrowing the US Constitution.
As I said.... Biden's not a saint..... I'll give you the fact that he may have plagiarized campaign speeches and even a document in college..... I'll even say that much like other presidents he hasn't been completely truthful as president, vice president, or as a senator.....
But the scale of the liars is different and if you can't see that then you're just ignorant. I barely even mentioned his lies while in office...
There is a difference between knowing that I need to take what Biden says with a grain of salt and "I wouldn't trust Trump if his tongue were notarized"
