T. U. post spring roster

I really liked what I saw out of Brady and Whitfield at FS & SS last season. I'm looking forward to Whitfield getting more PT as a starter. I still have the opinion that our team will only be as good as the DT's and the CB's though.

Brady seemed pretty slow out there to me last year, but I like Whitfield's potential. Manny Bunch may have a chance to get some playing time at safety. Montgomery realizes speed in the secondary is an area we must improve. Reggie Robinson is the most intriguing prospect imo. Redshirted last year and had offers from Houston, Kansas St., and Stanford out of high school. Good size (6'1) for a corner and from reports I've read, great speed: 4.2 range.

I don't think his skill level has dramatically changed. Maybe his ability to read a defense has grown some but the biggest change has been the quality of QB coaching and an offensive scheme that gives him a better chance to be successful.

His footwork has dramatically improved. That is the biggest difference.

His skill level has absolutely grown because of coaching. Not understanding your logic?
I don't think it is skill as much as his ability to see and slow down the game a little bit and a system that has put him in position to be successful. The tweaks to his physical ability were minor relative to some of the things that have helped him grow with regards to his mental capacity for the game.

Agree. He just needed reps. He got them as a Fr. & So.

His physical talent has always been there. It was evident in the spring games he played in early in his career. He now has the chance to be a top 25 ALL TIME signal caller. (at least in terms of production)
