Supreme Court keeps falling for fake cases?

If the article intentionally misrepresents the facts in the opening paragraph what’s the point of taking the rest of it seriously?

Case heard by the Supreme Court has zero to do with where the plaintiff lives or if he wants his job back. Unfortunately the readers of Slate apparently aren’t sophisticated enough to understand the Court ruled on a constitutional matter and not current residence or job plans. Yet we get this crap posted on this board.
