I hear you’re blowing things out of proportion.I hear the protestos are toting fully automatic weapons, building walls and extorting money from business and residents...
Doesnt take long for the socialist experiment to go all Che Guevara...
You mean like that conservative militia group in Eastern Oregon that did the same thing?Sounds like a militia group.
Difference:
malitia compounds occupy private property.
This one, the group invaded a city and occupies public land.
Uh. Yeah. Have you ever been to the eastern side of the state? It's a plateau that's basically farmland. There are conservatives in Oregon?
Fox has been screwing with you. We're chill. It is the SPD that is under federal court supervision for misuse of force. goes back years.

Tulsa is replacing Seattle in the news.

In all seriousness we should pray no one enters that zone. Those people in that “autonomous” zone have no idea that they have relinquished all of their civil rights & US citizenship. I feel bad for them, I really do. I pray no one that any of us on here knows enters that zone because once one does it is over for them - even if they leave they will still have relinquished their rights/citizenship & they will still be subject to arrest.LOL. Head on over aston and BLA.

Sorry no riots and crime sprees yet. Is that what go down in Tulsa if cops aren’t on every street corner? Anarchy?
Does that mean that Tulsa's in anarchy because there have been murders?Still “chill” in Seattle? It took a couple weeks, a couple murders, others shot. So the answer to Topeke is yes, anarchy.
It’s amazing some people would actually expect removing law & order to be “chill”.
Does that mean that Tulsa's in anarchy because there have been murders?
If you extrapolate the murder rate from CHOP’s population size to Tulsa’s population size, and then annualize it, it would be the equivalent of having 9,600 murders in Tulsa in one year, with an additional 19,200 other people being shot. (With a grand total of 0 arrests in connection with those crimes)
If those stats were true in Tulsa, I think that could rightly be described as anarchy. But since we are orders of magnitude away from those type of numbers in Tulsa, whereas those are the actual numbers from CHOP, I think it’s very fair to characterize CHOP as anarchy, but not Tulsa.
Stats
CHOP Population: ~1,000 (could actually be lower)
Murders: 2
Total shootings: 6
Timeframe: 1 month
Tulsa Population: 400,000
Does that mean that Tulsa's in anarchy because there have been murders?
Does that mean that Tulsa's in anarchy because there have been murders?
You do realize that's not the way that small sample sizes scale right? If that’s all you get out of the situation, you’re defense of Topeke makes sense.
We’re discussing Topeke’s “chill” lawless chop/chaz zone Seattle, not Tulsa. However, pretending your argument made logical sense, here is that answer:
If Tulsa averages 1 murder per square mile per week, yes. That would equal 200 Tulsa murders per week.
*Just saw golden cane already caught the absurdity of your response. Aston, you keep digging, no matter how big the hole in your argument.
I don't agree with concepts of things such as defunding police, as I've heard it described, but I also haven't read up very fully on concepts such as this. So I'm not defending Aston's position. But comparing the anarchy in existence between a fully functioning police dept/patrol, in relation to recent statistics in the chop zone would seem to be one good place to start if defending or attacking the chop zone. Discussion of it being a failure or not is indeterminate in this brief a period, but those early statistics would seem to be one avenue to address where it might be headed.(if that could even be determined at this early of a stage)You do realize the point I initially made & later defended is that a complete lack of law & order in a community will not work. It will eventually lead to anarchy. Talk of murders in Tulsa is irrelevant to that point. Talk of the Seattle chop zone being a failure is the relevant discussion point.
