Shouldn’t the full schedule be out soon? Seems like it’s usually out around the end of July or early August. Anyone hear anything?
Not on Tulsa but lots of schools have announced theirs. It should be soon. I keep looking at those that have announced, looking for Tulsa, but nothing do far.Shouldn’t the full schedule be out soon? Seems like it’s usually out around the end of July or early August. Anyone hear anything?
So if it follows the barely outlined pattern, we'll see it on the 24th this year, and Sept 3 next year.109 of the 363 D1 schedules have been released so far.
Last year, we released ours on August 12th. In 2019, it was on July 29th. In 2018, it was July 13th.
He knows he has to keep the Loca Broadcast Network happy
If I didn’t know it was non conference, I would have guessed CincinnatiI am curious on who backed out. Maybe Chris Harmon has posted something about it in the Alley (I am not in the Alley).
Oru? 😉I am curious on who backed out. Maybe Chris Harmon has posted something about it in the Alley (I am not in the Alley).
If only. We should have pulled the plug on them years ago. You don’t see SMU playing UNT - well, you wouldn’t have until the future. Or Rice playing Houston Baptist. Nor does UT play St. Edward’s.Oru? 😉
For now, we need every opportunity to sell every ticket we can get.If only. We should have pulled the plug on them years ago. You don’t see SMU playing UNT - well, you wouldn’t have until the future. Or Rice playing Houston Baptist. Nor does UT play St. Edward’s.
Both TU and ORU need to be good and play each other every year imo , if both schools could start being relevant again , it could be a huge game right here in Tulsa and draw big time crowds. For now, we need every opportunity to sell every ticket we can get.
Exactly, This game is an opportunity for both teams to be able to get a good financial pay day for one game. IF both teams are relevent, then both arenas will sell out and that is a win win for both schools. Both TU and ORU need to be good and play each other every year imo , if both schools could start being relevant again , it could be a huge game right here in Tulsa and draw big time crowds.
Especially considering our attitudes towards OSU. Seems like a hypocritical attitude.I still don't get the attitude of folks who don't want to play ORU every year. As though we are better. Last I looked, ORU has been way more relevant in basketball than we have lately.
Some of you have a very short memory of how the TU - ORU series came to be.
That was the first TU ORU game I attended. Then the Self era
his ORU upset no 25 TU at Mabee and we hired him
The game used to sell out at both arenas for a few years
Worst coaching ever in an ORU game by coach Robinson. Then the Self era
his ORU upset no 25 TU at Mabee and we hired him
The game used to sell out at both arenas for a few years
Good! We need to play them every year !
That’s probably 1 of the two games we were missing from the scheduleGood! We need to play them every year !
Imo , all of the Oklahoma teams need to play each other every year , TU, ORU, OSU, and OUThat’s probably 1 of the two games we were missing from the schedule
That would make too much sense. But OU and OSU would rather give their fans dog dook from southeastern Dakota. Then you have to listen to the coaches bitch about attendance. I am glad fans sit those games out.Imo , all of the Oklahoma teams need to play each other every year , TU, ORU, OSU, and OU
They must be scared little ole Tulsa might embarrass themThat would make too much sense. But OU and OSU would rather give their fans dog dook from southeastern Dakota. Then you have to listen to the coaches bitch about attendance. I am glad fans sit those games out.
it would work now with OU in the SEC, OSU in the Big XII, Tulsa in the AAC and ORU in the SummitThe “All College Classic” needs to come back and rotate between okc and Tulsa with the 4 state teams participating. Win/win/win/win for all teams and fans involved.
This is only good news if there is a return game.
