Shaq Harrison was waived by the Grizzlies after a quiet showing in the preseason. Hope he finds somewhere to land in this his 6th professional season.

Daquan Jeffries looks like he will probably make the Knicks squad though he's likely to be an end of the rotation guy.

I will never understand why NBA teams just keep overlooking Shaq. Every time he plays he shows to have a positive +/- numbers and he contributes to the team positively. Would I have him as a starter? Probably not. However, he would be coming off the bench often, especially when you need to slow down the other team. He is a defensive specialist. Look at the past winners of the Championship....even though they had great offense, all of them had amazing defense. The teams with just great offense never win it all. You have to have defense. I think Shaq just isnt getting the respect for some reason and I dont get it.

I don't think Shaq is dominant enough to be considered a defensive specialist. Look at Thabo Sefolosha back in his Thunder days. He was an ELITE defender and you could throw him on Kobe with solid results. He also could shoot threes well enough. Shaq doesn't have that set yet.

I agree. It seems he always performs very well defensible and is able to score some in preseason and when he gets game time but it is never kept by anyone. It’s r really confusing to me..
