I wonder why some states, most notably California, have their primary so late. They have every right to have it when they want to.

Iowa and New Hampshire have way more to say about who will be nominated. Once more the most populous state in the Union will vote after both parties know who is going to be their nominee. Think of the difference it could make if they voted earlier in the process.

This year, of course, it is much more noticeable with two candidates who have very high negative numbers. As Doug Wojcik would say "It is what it is."
 
I figured it out. The West Coast is in a different time zone so they have to vote later.
