The game today vs UCF has been postponed due to COVID inside the Tulsa program. No word on a makeup date.
Speaking of Word, Congratulations to Northwestern State getting their first Division 1 win by edging out Incarnate Word 83-80 yesterday in the Southland in season tournament.
Tulsa women are in action this afternoon at Houston. Houston has a higher NET than Tulsa so if Tulsa can pull this win on the road it will be a big boost to the NET and might get some national recognition. They only have 1 loss on the year and they should have won that game.
Three other games have been postponed and only one has been rescheduled.
UNLV at Air Force has been postponed due to COVID related matters with UNLV.
Oregon at Oregon State has been Postponed due to COVID related matters with Oregon.
LMU (CA) at Pacific that was postponed a couple days ago due to COVID on the LMU program has been rescheduled for February 19th in Stockton.
The early game to day is Wichita State at Houston. This game is on CBS. Unfortunately for me the CBS affiliate here is in negotiations with the provider so I no longer have CBS. I hope it’s a good game.
Rhode Island is taking on Davidson today. Davidson is a 36 NET and a win for Rhode Island at Davidson would be a huge boost for them and for us as well.

Lots of games being postponed and rescheduled along with some forfeits. 27 games today fall into that category. There are 3 forfeits today. One of these is a fan favorite on this board. Lamar had to forfeit to Grand Canyon. This brings Grand Canyon to a 12-2 mark on the season. The smaller conferences are doing the forfeits and the larger conferences are postponing games. Most of your midsize conferences are postponing but will show no contest if a reasonable date cant be reached. This shows just that those that compete for multiple bids in the tourney are trying to make it happen and those one bid no matter what conferences are just doing forfeits.
