All three teams lost yesterday luckily we only dropped one spot in the rankings. The next conference games are Wednesday with TU playing on Thursday on ESPN2.

Todays games will be much better than yesterdays but ony one of these teams we have beaten. If Colorado State can get a good decisive victory then they could move to a Q2.

Here's hoping the weather doesn't affect attendance on Thursday. There are a lot of tix still available.
You can get them super cheap off the 3rd party sites like Tick Pick/Vivid Seats, etc. I'm waiting to see what my son's ability to get out of soccer practice is (which is looking really good right now).

We’re only 1-point favorites at each of the Florida schools. Just survive those games and we’ll move up.

I don’t get that. If we do what we do, we should be fine in those games. The standings really reflect two halves in this league. They are on the other half.

I got his point. What we do is not shoot very well from outside on the road. So I get his survive statement. If we can punish them inside then they should be easy 10 point wins. In this league there isn't an "easy" game though.

I was trying to figure out why they have us losing 5 more in conference and after CTT mentioned it I looked at the Projections. They have us losing
@ UCF
@ USF
@ Houston
@ Temple
@ Wichita State

So this means that they do not respect us on the road.

I don’t necessarily disagree, but they’re both weird afternoon games in front of small, disinterested crowds. It’s kind of like the old San Jose State games. There’s no good reason they should be close, but sometimes they just are.

That’s what I like about them. If we show up focused like the Tulane game, we should be fine. Tulane has more talent than those two and probably a better coach. We usually dominated San Jose. We would stub our toe in random Valley games back in the day.

We're also going to start getting everyone's best since we're the top dog in the conference at the moment. To start conference play, I'm not sure anyone had us circled on their calendar.

That’s why I like the random start times on weekends. You live in Tampa and you have the choice of nice weather on a Saturday or watching that crap? I’m taking the weather.

As long as we stay focused and do what we need to do, we should be fine.

None of this matters yet.

BEAT UCONN!!!!!1

You mean like when we had to go to Hartford and play in an abandoned mall?

The point of there being a clear separation between the top 5-6 teams and the bottom couldn't be more true. I think there are 6 teams with 3 league losses or less (us, Houston, Cincinnati, WSU, SMU, & Memphis), and everyone else has 6 losses or more. The only team with 6 losses I don't quite get is Temple. They can lose to the worst teams and beat the best teams but as Forrest Gump's mama said "Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know whatcha gonna get". Pretty applicable to Temple. USF and UCF are not good teams right now. USF lost some very key parts of their team and have never been able to find an identity after that. UCF is just young and raw and can't shoot really. UCONN is bad despite what CBS wants to continually shove down our throats. Tulane-struggling to find an identity. ECU-is what we have thought is ECU was. ECU v SMU game was more of a fluke than anything else time has revealed.

Colorado State won by 10 on the road. They should get a nice boost in the NET. That means they will move to a Q2 and out of a Q3 tomorrow.

Arkansas lost by 3 to Auburn and Boise is trying to hang on with 4 minutes left
