Went 1-2 in the GOI. UT Arlington is looking like a bad loss for us and we are a good win for them. The only one to win their game was Arkansas State. Luckily we have conference play now so we can boos our resume.

It is released every day and we went up 26 spots after beating Temple. We have been going up and down because of the losses to people we have played or others beating teams and jumping us. Remember this isn't a rating it is a ranking.

I wouldn't be. We also got run over by Arkansas State and Colorado State (who also isn't very good). KState is not the same team as last year and struggling mightily. We have 4 losses against teams we should not have losses against. It's so bad I can't even remember the 5th loss right now.

Yeah...we got hammered. Only game we were never really in and even at our best, might not have won. I have no doubt the other 4 if we had played anywhere close to our best, we win w/o a problem against UTA, Ark State and KState. Colorado State we played well offensively but not very well defensively.

If we shoot 45%/33%/75% (FG, 3FG, FT) in a game we should win most nights because I think we have solved a lot of issues on the defensive end. Our players have been freed up to be aggressive to contest passes and our rebounding has been much better overall.

Arkansas St. and Colorado St are the losses that shouldn't be on our record. We are better than them when we play to potential. Especially Arkie St. You can make that same argument with KSt and UTA, but those are acceptable losses considering the time they were played, the closeness of the loss, and having an off night. We should be 12-2 or more likely 11-3 if we played to our potential most nights.

There's no such thing as an acceptable loss to Texas at Arlington unless Texas at Arlington is a post season team.

Same thing goes for Monty and teams like ECU, UCONN, Tulane in case you think I'm just being hard on Haith.

I hadn't even looked at their record or who they had won and lost to since early December. You don't lose that many games, no matter how tough the schedule, if you aren't pretty bad. That'll teach me to trust the net for much of anything. I'd still accept it as an early season blemish on a decent record if we hadn't lost to anybody but Arkansas & K St. Those are ok if you don't have but one or two max.

I'm a bit more perturbed with Colo St. We could / should have won that one. Arky and KSt are understandable losses though I wish we had at least put up some kind of fight at Arkansas. I will always detest getting our heads kicked in at regional big names.
