They were up by 14 most of the 2nd half when I was watching. And here's the thing, UNT gets after the boards and they've got a quick PG who likes to get to the rim. Outside of that I didn't get much that they were a team we can't beat. Wichita State is definitely beatable. I'm thinking the natives there are going to get restless waiting for Mills to get things turned around.

We moved up 6 spots in the loss. I am sure that isn’t because of who we played but that combined with others results that got us up 6 spots. Now we just got to figure out how to win outside of the Reynolds center

We need MoSt, OkSt, and Loyola to win a lot of games from here on out. ORU, doesn't matter if they win or lose IMO, since the rest of their games are Summit games, my guess is even winning a game is going to drop them a few spots and every loss will be a 10+ spot drop simply because of how bad that conference is.

I was just looking at KenPom and apparently Tulsa has the 360th non-conference strength of schedule Adjusted Efficiency Margin. The only teams worse are George Washington and Minnesota.

Large slate of games today. Tulsa Men play tomorrow. Today the 12-3 Tulsa Women host Temple at the Reynolds Center. The ladies are also 2-0 in conference with wins over Memphis and Tulane.

The game on Thursday was an exciting game. There are a couple of glaring issues as I see it. Free throws need to improve and getting to the line also needs to improve. We only had three players that got to the line. Archie (2-2), Cobe (2-2) and Haggerty (5-11). I know that missing the freebies is not a normal thing for Haggerty but we cannot rely on one player getting inside and trying to draw the foul. Haggerty was also the only one that got to the line in the second half. That will make us linear and that is not good for the team. Defense stepped up and defended well even that last shot that won it for them was defended well. The other one is three point shooting We shot 35 percent for the game and that was after we shot 46 percent in the second half. We were 12 of 34 in which 9 of the 12 was in the second half which got us close. Hero ball will lose us more games than we win. Cobe was mentioned quite a bit because his 3 ball tied us up but he was 3-14 FG and 2-10 3pt. This was abysmal play. Some of those were massive airballs. There is no reason we should not have won that game. That said. I feel we are better now that we were two months ago.
