Etoh smooth. A two and three. Igbanu posts up better than anyone since Anthony Price.

Moon the 7'0" for Occ is really good we should have recruited him. Wheeler will start for us eventually.

Shooting a lot from perimeter. There are open passes inside. Defense C-
TU up 26-16. 7:49.

Atson looking much better than scrimmages, so far. He hit a 3, made a nice assist inside to Etou & played well on D.

Best looking players

Etoh and Wheeler stand out first half. Magnay looks quite good for 17 years old. Haith plays Really nice aggressive defense. So does Wheeler. Look for Igbanu next half.

I can only listen (for $6.95) but it sounds like everyone is playing well.

40-23 at the half. Overall we played well. A little concerned with defense inside against OCC's decent 7 footer. I agree that Magnay looked good in the first half.

Looks like we have a good group of individual players. It's clear they're still getting used to one another. However, I haven't seen anyone look lost on either end.

I am more encouraged finally seeing something in person, but know there will growing pains.

Magnay has taken the Ledoux/ Swannegan of bad foul magnet.

Moon got points against Artison and Igbanu. Edogi and Etou made him look average.

Moon scored at will against TK. Worried about Bigs in AAC. Need that shot blocker. TU 54-35 11:34

Etou with double double, 17pts and 11reb. 8:05 left in game.

Band is way more into their music than I've heard in yeaaaaaaarrrrssssss. I'm not musically talented to know if they're good but they got a round of applause for their excitement from those in attendance.

Looks like Battle is a redshirt candidate. Not sure on Magnay. He is going to be a great one in a few years.

Need to see more of Battle, maybe he is not ready but he might be the best athlete on the team. I like the guy already.

GO TU!!!

Geo., sometimes 'athlete' and point guard are oxymoronic....Being one does
not necessarily beget the other.....It is great when someone that has the
instincts (intuits) necessary to play PG is also a very good athlete....

The fact that Battle hasn't adjusted quickly doesn't mean he won't...Let's
give him time to develop....

Magnay's situation is somewhat different....If Etou, TK, and Igbanu (with
some help from Artison) look like they can handle the load, they (the staff)
may indeed red shirt Magnay....If two games into the regular season, we
find a need for Maqnay, they can still pull his red shirt.....

In a perfect world, it seems he should red shirt....He will be a much better
player next (2017) season.....We have to remember that He and Igbanu
will be the last 'bigs' standing out of the present squad....

Magnay is a year behind Igbanu both chronologically and physically. Still only 17. Both have great upsides.

It's wonderful to think that the same recruiting class has yielded two 'bigs'
with so much upside....It has certainly been a while since that has happened...
Was it the '06 class that gave us J.Jordan, Walls and Mclean??

This will obviously serve us very well in the coming years whether Magnay
red shirts or not.....Personally, I hope he does.....If he doesn't, it looks as
if he will be used to come in and take some fouls....Not much else...His last
years of eligibility may well be something special....It would be great if his
first one was used when he is further along in his development....He will
become less foul prone as he matures physically.....

I think Magnay is going to be a big surprise. He has a high basketball IQ and has by far looked the best on pure pick and roll situations. Tulsa fans are going to enjoy watching this young man for four years.

GO TU!!!!!
